Neu Art Gallery - Linz, Austria

The design of the Neu Art Gallery in Linz aims to establish an active interaction between the urban context and the natural settings through an intelligent facade.
The facade features a wood log pattern to create small opening that  are lit from inside.
The horizontal cantilevered timber hollow post provides a passive ventilation via a cavity that opens and closes according to the demand of fresh air. Studio SINTAA has designed both the elevations and the interiors.
